Despite Parkinson’s, Greg climbed one of the highest mountains in the U.S
At 59 years old, with a 27-year battle against Parkinson’s disease, Greg achieved a remarkable feat by reaching the summit of Mt. Harvard, a challenging climb near Buena Vista. “Dr. Kumar has been so supportive of me in accomplishing this dream, that he even said he would climb it with me,” Hatstat recounts. Mt. Harvard stands as Colorado’s third-highest peak and the nation’s fourth-highest, soaring 4,400 feet over 6.5 miles to a towering summit of 14,433 feet.
