Rajeev Kumar, MD (Medical Director)
Rajeev Kumar, founder of Rocky Mountain Movement Disorders Center in 2007, has been practicing Neurology in Colorado and Texas since 1998. Trained at the Mayo Clinic and mentored by Dr. Anthony Lang at the University of Toronto, Dr. Kumar specializes in Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and dystonia. With over two decades of experience, he has authored numerous publications on movement disorders and served as principal investigator on over 100 clinical trials. Dr. Kumar is renowned for his exceptional care and research. He has lead Rocky Mountain Movement Disorders Center to become one of the pre-eminent movement disorders research centers in the world collaboration with CenExel Rocky Mountain Clinical Research and leads the multi-disciplinary team of the Huntington’s Disease Center of Excellence. He is dedicated to aiding individuals with movement disorders and helping them attain their life goals. He enjoys skiing and reading outside of the clinic.
Meagen Salinas, MD
Dr. Salinas is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She comes from the Dallas area where she held the positions of Assistant Chief, Neurology Section and Stroke Director of the North Texas VA Health Care System, as well as Assistant Professor and Fellowship Director – Movement Disorders, of the UT Southwestern Medical Center. She actively engages in research and holds memberships in both the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society. When not working with patients, Dr. Salinas enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, gardening, crafting, hiking, and reading historical fiction books.
Victoria Segro, MSN, ANP-C (Nurse Practitioner)
Ms. Segro received her master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado and is a certified adult practitioner. Vicki has worked in movement disorders since 2000, and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. She is one of the few nurse practitioners nationally certified as a clinical research investigator with the Parkinson Study Group and Huntington Study Group. Vicki has lived in Colorado since graduating from college, where she loves to spend time with her family and participate in the arts.
Jennifer Farren, MMSc, PA-C (Physician Assistant)
Jen studied neuroscience at UC Berkeley during her undergrad years and completed her physician associate training at Yale University. She subsequently joined the team at RMMDC in 2021 and enjoys working with individuals with all types of movement disorders. Jen feels privileged to contribute to exciting new research targeting therapies to improve the lives of her patients. Outside of the clinic, Jen enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and hiking with her family and dog, Sammie.

Josette Pressler, LPN (Clinical Nurse Supervisor)
Josette has over 45 years experience in nursing with 20 years in physical rehabilitation and the past 25 years working in movement disorders with Dr. Rajeev Kumar. Her expertise is with movement disorder exams, rating scales, clinical trials, and patient contact/communication. Josette educates patients, families, and community organizations regarding Parkinson’s disease. She enjoys many Colorado outdoor activities.
Ayla Labbree, BSN, RN (Clinical Nurse)
Ayla is a Colorado native and was a medical/surgical nurse for over 4 years, two of which were spent as a travel nurse around the country. Her role at RMMDC as an RN includes administering infusions for various research studies as well as seeing patients in clinic and DBS programming. Outside of work, Ayla enjoys spending time with her husband and family, hiking, traveling, and cooking.
Renee Novak, BSN, RN (Clinical Nurse)
Renee has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has spent most of her career as a hospital nurse with experience in intensive care, pediatrics, and mother/baby. She is new to the neurology/movement disorders field and enjoys this new challenge. Her role at RMMDC includes patient education and support, patient clinic visits, and research study infusions. In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time with her four children, hiking, running, and exploring all the restaurants and coffee shops Denver has to offer.

J. Mimi Castelo, Ph.D., ABPP-CN (Director of Neuropsychology)
Dr. Castelo is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified neuropsychologist. She completed her training in the Boston area, with a doctoral degree from Boston University, and residency and two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Harvard / Massachusetts General Hospital / Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She then served as Staff Neuropsychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital before relocating to Denver in 2012. She operated a Neuropsychology private practice and then served as Director of Neuropsychology at Blue Sky Neurology until joining RMMDC in the Spring of 2022, with a joint focus on establishing their clinical neuropsychology service and participation in clinical dementia trials with CenExel RMCR. Her spare time is consumed by her husband, three daughters, and two dogs, with adventures near and far.
Heather Snead, Psy.D. (Neuropsychologist)
Dr. Snead earned her doctoral degree from the University of Denver and completed her postdoctoral training in neuropsychology at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. She has a particular clinical interest in neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s spectrum disorders. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing with her family and Belgian Malinois rescue, Luci. Having grown up in Singapore and London, travel is also an important part of her life.
Hannah Crichton, Psychometrist
Hannah is a psychometrist experienced in administering a variety of standardized neuropsychological and behavioral assessments to patients with psychological and neurological conditions in both clinical and research settings. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family.
Mona Shriver, Clinic Operations and Billing Manager
A Denver native, Mona is a former elementary school teacher and middle and high school coach who has worked in medical practices in one capacity or another for over 30 years. She acts as the practice manager and billing manager at RMMDC. When not spending time with her family, Mona is an avid reader and likes to walk/hike, bake, and work with a variety of crafts.
J. Mimi Castelo, Ph.D., ABPP-CN (Director of Neuropsychology)
