New Patient Scheduling and What to Expect:

Rocky Mountain Movement Disorders Center provides the highest quality of care for patients with neurological disorders.

Prior to scheduling an appointment, all relevant medical records are reviewed by our staff to ensure that we can provide the best care for patients. Given the complex nature of these conditions, securing relevant prior medical records, lab tests, and imaging studies such MRI scans is crucial. Optimal treatment hinges on having a thorough understanding of your medical history. As a result, our new patient intake coordinator will work with you to obtain these records. It is very helpful and often expedites scheduling if you are able to upload any relevant records that you may possess using our document upload form. You may also fax or mail us records (and CD’s of imaging studies).

You may contact our new patient intake coordinator if you have questions about which records will be needed prior to your appointment being scheduled. Once we have received all of the appropriate records, our scheduling staff will contact you.

A standard NEW Patient appointment can last up to 4 hours, as our providers conduct comprehensive assessments.

Following your appointment, we will submit all progress notes to your designated healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of your care. If there are specific providers whom you wish to receive this correspondence, kindly specify this on your paperwork along with contact details, including a fax number.

It is important that you bring an updated Medication List to every visit, as our providers want to provide the utmost care possible.
